AGREEMENT
-
In the city of Montevideo, the 26th of February 2002. Between: ON
THE ONE HAND- Martin
Marzano Luissi, in his capacity as President of the Directory and in the
name of and representation of the Instituto Nacional del Menor,
from now on called INAME, and the members
of the mentioned Board of Directors, Stella Lopez Beltran and Diver
Fernandez Ferreira, with residence in this city at Avenida 18 de Julio
number 1516, sixth floor. - ON
THE OTHER HAND- Alejandro Bonasso Lenguas, in his capacity as
Director General and in the name of and representation of the Inter-American
Children's Institute (IIN), with residence in this city at Avenida 8 de
Octubre 2904 - AGREE IN THE FOLLOWING: - FIRSTLY
- The Instituto Nacional del Menor and
the Inter-American Children's Institute agree on putting into operation an
office "ad hoc" of the INAME at the headquarters of the IIN,
with the objective to facilitate the existing relation between both
organizations, at a political and technical level. Office hours will be
from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17.30; these hours coincide with the
attention to the public on behalf of the IIN. - SECONDLY
- Parties obligations: A) From the Instituto Nacional del Menor Will
provide the human resources affected at the office that is created, being
responsible for their remuneration. B) From the Inter-American Children's
Institute: a) Will provide the adequate infrastructure (furniture,
computers, telephones, etc.) - b) Will be responsible for the functional
costs of the office, such as the electricity, national and international
calls, water, heating and others. c)
Will provide staff training from the INAME, except in special situations
that will be resolved by agreement between both parties. d) Will grant the
INAME - With prior coordination- the use of the Multiple Use Salon of the
IIN. THIRDLY
- This agreement will be valid from today for a period of one year,
expiring in which the parties will resolve if they agree or not their
extension in an automatic way. If one of the parties do not wish to renew
the agreement, they must communicate such circumstance by telegram to his
counterpart with a prior notice of sixty
days. - FOURTHLY - The
present agreement will be granted in fulfillment of the Resolution
of the Board of Directors of the INAME # 282/02 from the date 13 of February 2002. Lic.
