The Inter-American Observatory on Commercial Sexual Exploitation and other Forms of Violence against children and adolescents has the following objectives:

General: To strengthen the capabilities of the government and civil society players in their actions to protect against commercial sexual exploitation and other forms of violence.

Specific 1: To achieve a thorough understanding of the problem of the commercial sexual exploitation and other forms of violence against children, their changes and trends, in the local, national and regional levels.

Specific 2: Provide information, studies, training and technical assistance among other services.

Specific 3: Influence on the government and civil society players in the design, implementation and evaluation of public policies against commercial sexual exploitation and other forms of violence.
