• To enhance intervention capabilities for the promotion and protection of children's rights in the state relevant institutions, the organized civil society, and by children themselves and their families in the OAS Member States in the region.
• To strengthen the management and leverage of the IIN ar regional ant international level -in its capacity as a specialized OAS organization- on issues related to children's rights and welfare and their consequent articulation, thus becoming an unavoidable referent within the Inter-American System.
