OPENING SPEECH OF LIC. MARTIN MARZANO,
PRESIDENT OF INAME

Espaņol

Good evening to all, to my friend Alejandro, to the distinguished presenters that will enlighten us with their ideas and proposals, to all the friends who are here today around this work table. It is always a pleasure to come to this house and participate in these nice events organized by Alejandro, especially when the topic is the analysis of the importance of the family not only in the development of the personality of our children but also of their rights at all levels, particularly in the areas of education, recreation, morality, health and ethical concerns.

Through a fast glance at the topics of this seminar, I can see that you will look at all those important dimensions in the life of a family: the family as a social unit, its rights, its social context, its relation to society and specially the importance of the psychological dimension of resilience, a topic not very understood or promoted but of great importance to empower children in situation of social risk.

So we adhere wholeheartedly  to this initiative and express our appreciation not only to the presenters - who will surely make the cognitive contribution - but also to the participants for devoting these hours of their time to the discussion of such important topics.

Thank you very much.
