THE XVIII PAN AMERICAN CHILD CONGRESS 

            DECLARES its deepest rejection and condemnation of all kinds of exploitation of children and adolescents, with or without profit motives, whatever be the place or activities in which they occur. 
            DECLARES that, dedicated to the subject of “Information and the Rights of the Child,” it is making a special appeal to all media in the Hemisphere so that they feel committed to the objectives and conclusions of this Congress, in their social responsibility for preserving an adequate socio-cultural environment for the healthy development of children and adolescents.
