New IIN Website
It is a pleasure to present the Inter-American Children’s Institute’s new website. On it there are updates and news regarding our work. This new site is easy to navigate and has been designed in a user-friendly way, with the needs of Member States, institutions and people who work with or are interested in children’s issues in mind.
In the Content section, any of our publications can be downloaded and access can be obtained to our regular content-related electronic newsletters. We wish to point out that in this new version of the site we have enabled public access to the indices of newsletters in the IIN’s historical archives, published between 1927 and 1988.
In addition to the items published in the News section, visitors will find full information regarding past and future events, as well as the reports submitted by the General Directorate to the Directing Council and the General Assembly of the OAS, and the Resolutions arising from official meetings, amongst other documents.
The site also has a multimedia gallery, which contains our collection of animated video films on rights and other output, as well as an area of interest to those who wish to learn more about the origins of the IIN, its structure and areas of work.
