Justice for adolescents in conflict with criminal law

In the matter of justice for adolescents in conflict with criminal law, the IIN is currently developing a technical institutional guide for the States, which will attempt to contribute to improving justice systems for adolescent offenders against criminal law, particularly with regard to the execution of criminal sentences and according to the paradigm of restorative justice, without forgetting the general principles that guide this branch of specialized justice.

Similarly, a paper on comparative law in this issue is being drafted, in which the emphasis will also be on the execution of measures, be they deprivation of freedom, or alternative measures. Likewise, the IIN will offer an online course in which this subject will be addressed in its different stages, together with regulatory background, theory, practice, doctrine and jurisprudence, in order to carry out a comprehensive study of the criminological phenomenon of adolescents in conflict with criminal law.
