The central issues of the IIN’s Action Plan 2011-2015, established in response to the States’ interests, are:

Early Childhood

Natural Disasters

Violence, in three specific sub-topics:

       - International Child Abduction (ICA)

       - Justice for adolescents in conflict with criminal law

       - Commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC)

At the same time, the IIN continues to strengthen the following areas:

Education and Update on the Rights of the Child

Child participation

Unaccompanied Migration of Children

Ombudsmen for Children

Proposals for improved treatment and handling of information about children and adolescents, especially in the media
