 RECOGNITION TO THE GOVERNMENT OF MEXICO FOR HOSTING
 THE 80th REGULAR MEETING OF THE DIRECTING COUNCIL 
(Submitted by the delegation of Nicaragua) 

THE DIRECTING COUNCIL, 

CONSIDERING:

 

  1. That through its note DPD 238-05 dated 14 June, 2005 the Government of the Republic of Honduras stated the impossibility of holding the 80th Regular Meeting of the Directing Council of the IIN in that country;

  2. That through resolution CD/RES. 01 (1-D/05) most Member states voted and approved by correspondence the New Place and Date of the 80th Regular Meeting of the Directing Council of the IIN;

  3. That through note dated 15 June, 2005 the Government of Mexico offered the city of Mexico, DF as the alternate place to host the 80th Regular Meeting of the IIN;

RESOLVES: 

To thank the Government of Mexico and particularly its National System for the Integral Development of the Family represented by its Director General, Ana Teresa Aranda Orozco, for its significant support to the organization and development of the 80th Regular Meeting of the Inter-American Children’s Institute.
