Objectives of the Workshop

• Present and analyze the methodological tool developed to contribute to the preparation of official and alternative reports to the Committee on the Rights of the Child.

• Promote the participants on the use of the tool for strengthening the process of follow-up of the Convention in their countries.

• Discuss and propose strategies to improve the work and strengthen the follow-up of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in the region.

Profile of Participants

Persons with knowledge of the process of follow-up of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean will be in attendance at the workshop.

Participants must have knowledge and experience of preparing reports to the Committee on the Rights of the Child in Geneva or must have been designated for this role on their correspondent institutions .
